Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh STF busted the fake call center and arrested 04 fraudsters including Ankit Kumar, the kingpin of the gang who cheated crores of rupees in the name of depositing premium from customers by fraudulently in the name of Max Life Insurance Company and PNB MetLife Insurance achieved remarkable success.

Lucknow: उत्तर प्रदेश एस0टी0एफ़0, ने फ़र्ज़ी कॉल सेन्टर का भण्डाफोड़ कर मैक्स लाइफ़ इंश्योरेंस कम्पनी एवं पीएनबी मेटलाइफ़ इंश्योरेन्स के नाम पर धोखाधड़ी करके ग्राहकों से प्रीमियम जमा कराने के नाम पर करोड़ों की ठगी करने वाले गिरोह के सरगना अंकित कुमार सहित 04 जालसाज़ों को नोयडा से गिरफ़्तार कर उल्लेखनीय सफ़लता प्राप्त की।

- Sumit Pandey son Dinesh Prakash Pandey resident of Bhudkudi, Police Station Maholi, District Sitapur.
- Akash son Upendra Singh resident of Katira Jafrabad, Thana Bahadurgarh, District Hapur. Recent Address Sanjay Vihar, Suthiana, Thana Surajpur, Gautam Budh Nagar.
- Sagar Putra Tilakraj resident CNI Church Road, Sadar Bazar, Thana Cantt Ambala, District Ambala

Arrested accused by UPSTF
They were being cheated by filling the check in front of the policy holder in a forged manner
Let us inform that, STF, Uttar Pradesh arrested the fraudsters by calling customers in the name of Max Life Insurance Company and UPSTF. The thugs used to get checks of small amount from the customers through phone after telling them that the policy expired or some amount of the policy was due. After this, they were being cheated by filling the check in a forged manner in front of the policy holder. On receipt of information in this regard, various teams/units of UPSTF were directed to take necessary action.
पॉलिसी धारक के समक्ष चेक में कूटरचित तरीक़े से भरकर उनसे ठगी की जा रही थी
बता दें कि, एस0टी0एफ0, उत्तर प्रदेश ने मैक्स लाइफ़ इंश्योरेंस कम्पनी एवं पीएनबी मेटलाइफ़ इंश्योरेन्स के नाम पर ग्राहको को फ़ोन करके ठगी करने वालों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। ठगों द्वारा ग्राहकों को फ़ोन के माध्यम से पॉलिसी समाप्त हो जाने या पॉलिसी की कुछ धनराशि बक़ाया बताकर उनसे छोटी धनराशि का चैक प्राप्त कर लिया जाता था। इसके बाद पॉलिसी धारक के समक्ष चेक में कूटरचित तरीक़े से भरकर उनसे ठगी की जा रही थी। इस सम्बन्ध में सूचना प्राप्त होने पर एसटीएफ उ0प्र0 की विभिन्न टीमों/इकाईयों को आवश्यक कार्यवाही हेतु निर्देशित किया गया था।
There are many cases registered against the gang involved in cheating
In this sequence, under the supervision of Shri Pramesh Kumar Shukla, Deputy Superintendent of Police, STF, UP, the process of intelligence gathering was started by the team located at STF Headquarters. During the activation of the information system, it came to know that the police station, Jankipuram, (Crime no. 241/2022)) is registered in the police commissionerate Lucknow against the gang who cheated in the name of insurance companies.
धोखाधड़ी करके ठगी करने वाले गिरोह के विरूद्ध कई मुक़दमे दर्ज हैं
इसी क्रम में श्री प्रमेश कुमार शुक्ल, पुलिस उपाधीक्षक, एस0टी0एफ0, उ0प्र0 के पर्यवेक्षण मे एस0टी0एफ0 मुख्यालय स्थित टीम द्वारा अभिसूचना संकलन की कार्यवाही प्रारम्भ की गयी। अभिसूचना तन्त्र को सक्रिय किये जाने के दौरान ज्ञात हुआ कि, इंश्योरेंस कंपनियों के नाम पर धोखाधड़ी करके ठगी करने वाले गिरोह के विरूद्ध थाना जानकीपुरम, पुलिस कमिश्नरेट लखनऊ में (मु0अ0सं0 241/2022) पंजीकृत है।
Team was constituted to unveil the case and arrest the accused
A notification was received to be active in Noida about the disclosure of the above case and the arrest of the accused and the gangs who cheated in this way. On which, under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Mr. Santosh Kumar from STF Headquarters, STF field unit with Sub-Inspector Mr. Javed Alam Siddiqui, H.C. Mrityunjay Rai, Constable Ravind Kumar Yadav and H.C./Driver Suresh Singh, A team from Gautam Budh Nagar and police station Jankipuram was sent to Noida district along with the investigator. Meanwhile, on the information of the informer, a member of the gang was arrested from near Ashok Nagar Delhi Border, Mother Dairy.
मुकदमें का अनावरण करने व अभियुक्तों की गिरफ़्तारी हेतु टीम गठित की गयी
उपरोक्त मुकदमें के अनावरण व अभियुक्तों की गिरफ़्तारी एवं इस तरह से ठगी करने वाले गिराहों के बारे में नोयडा में सक्रिय रहने की अभिसूचना प्राप्त हुई। जिसपर एस0टी0एफ0 मुख्यालय से उपनिरीक्षक श्री संतोश कुमार के नेतृत्व में उपनिरीक्षक श्री जावेद आलम सिद्दीकी, मु0आ0 मृत्युंजय राय, आऱक्षी कमाण्डो रविन्द कुमार यादव व मु0आ/चालक सुरेश सिंह के साथ एस0टी0एफ0 फील्ड इकाई, गौतमबुद्धनगर की एक टीम व थाना जानकीपुरम के मुकदमा विवेचक को साथ लेकर जनपद नोयडा भेजी गयी थी। इसी बीच मुख़बिर की सूचना/निशादेही पर गैंग के एक सदस्य को अशोक नगर दिल्ली बार्डर, मदर डेयरी के पास से गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।
Recovered from the arrested accused
On rigorous interrogation, the arrested person revealed his name as Sumit Pandey. Sumit also informed that the call center is being run illegally at B-127 Sector-2, Noida. Which is being moderated by Ankit Kumar. After reaching the place mentioned by Sumit Pandey, the STF team arrested three more accused. 01 Laptop, 10 Mobile phone, 08 Land line phone set, 01 Motor cycle no. UP-14-EH-8543, Insurance company data- 6 pages, Rs. 6800/- (Rs. Six thousand) from the above arrested accused. Eight hundred) cash was recovered.
गिरफ़्तार अभियुक्तों के पास से बरामदगी हुई
कड़ाई से पूछताछ करने पर गिरफ़्तार व्यक्ति ने अपना नाम सुमित पाण्डेय बताया। सुमित ने यह भी बताया कि बी-127 सेक्टर-2, नोयडा पर अवैध रूप से काल सेण्टर चलाया जा रहा है। जिसे अंकित कुमार द्वारा संचालित किया जा रहा है। सुमित पाण्डेय द्वारा बताये गये स्थान पर पहुँच कर STF की टीम ने तीन और अभियुक्तों को गिरफ़्तार किया। उपरोक्त गिरफ़्तार अभियुक्तों के पास से 01 अदद लैपटाप, 10 अदद मोबाइल फोन, 08 अदद लैण्ड लाईन फोन सेट, 01 अदद मोटर साईकिल नं0 यूपी-14-इएच-8543, इंश्योरेन्स कम्पनी डाटा- 6 पन्ने, रू0 6800/-(रू0 छ हजार आठ सौ0) रूपये नकदी बरामद की गयी।

All the details on the cheque are filled by the accused with their pen pilot frixion
On interrogation of the above accused, it was told that these people get the data of Max Life Insurance Company and PNB MetLife Insurance through call center. They collect money from customers on the pretext of getting the amount paid for their expired policies. At the same time, by giving information about the increase in the amount in ongoing policy, we get small amount of cheques like 120, 170, 180 rupees. After which all the details on the cheque are filled by the accused with their Pen Pilot Frixion. The account payee collects the cheque after obtaining the signature of the cheque from the customer. After that, the ink remover is installed at the bottom of the pen, so that these people erase the details written on the cheque from it. By entering the details of more amount as per your wish, you can get the cheque cashed.

उपरोक्त अभियुक्तों से पूछताछ करने पर बताया गया कि, यह लोग काल सेण्टर के माध्यम से मैक्स लाइफ़ इंश्योरेंस कम्पनी एवं पीएनबी मेटलाइफ़ इंश्योरेन्स का डाटा प्राप्त करते हैं। ग्राहकों से उनकी समाप्त हो चुकी पालिसी की धनराशि का भुगतान कराने का झाँसा देकर वसूली करते हैं। इसी के साथ चल रही पालिसी में धनराशि बढ़ोत्तरी की जानकारी देकर छोटी-छोटी धनराशि के चैक जैसे 120, 170, 180 रूपये के प्राप्त कर लेते हैं। जिसके बाद चेक पर सारा विवरण अभियुक्त अपने पेन पाइलट फ्रिक्सन से भरते हैं। ग्राहक से चैक पर हस्ताक्षर प्राप्त कर अकाउन्ट पेयी चैक लेते है। उसके बाद पेन के निचले भाग में इंक रिमूवर लगा होता है, जिससे यह लोग चैक पर अंकित विवरण को उससे मिटा देते हैं। अपनी इच्छानुसार अधिक धनराशि का विवरण अंकित कर चैक कैश करा लेते हैं।

Ankit took out two pens from the rack of the table and showed them by writing on a plain paper with one pen. These people get a cancellation cheque in the name of getting loan to the people and draw a line on that too with the above pen, which later erases it. From the account number printed on the cheque, the amount available in the account is known. After which the check given by the customer goes on filling the amount accordingly.
Similarly, after taking a canceled cheque from Sachin Tiwari, a line was drawn on it with a Frixion pen. After which Rs 1,85,000/- was withdrawn through this cheque. On which Crime No. 45/2020 Section 420 IPC was registered by Sachin Tiwari in Police StationPhase-1, Noida.

फ्रिक्शन पेन (Frixion Pen) की विशेषता यह होती है कि, एक से पाँच दिन तक लिखे अक्षरों को बहुत सफ़ाई से मिटाया जा सकता है। अंकित ने टेबल की रैक से दो पेन निकाले और एक पेन से सादे कागज़ पर लिखकर मिटाकर दिखाया। यह लोग लोगों को लोन दिलाने के नाम पर कैन्सिल चैक प्राप्त कर उस पर भी उपरोक्त पेन से ही लाईन खिचवा कर जो बाद में यह मिटा देते हैं। बैंक से कस्टमर के नम्बर से ग्राहक द्वारा जारी किये गये चैक पर अंकित एकाउन्ट नम्बर से खाते में उपलब्ध धनराशि की जानकारी कर उसी के अनुसार धनराशि भरकर चैक कैश करा लेते हैं।
इसी तरह सचिन तिवारी से एक कैन्सिल चैक लेकर उसपर फ्रिक्सन पैन से लाईन खींची थी। जिसके बाद में रू0 185,000/- इस चैक के माध्यम से निकाल लिया गया था। जिसपर सचिन तिवारी द्वारा थाना-फेस-1, नोयडा मे मु0अ0सं0 45/2020 धारा 420 भादवि का पंजीकृत कराया गया था।
All the accused have gone to jail many times
All the accused told that, in the pre-2020, these people have also gone to jail from police station Kotwali countryside in Bulandshahr district under Section 420/467/468/471 IPC. Sumit told that, he has been jailed from Jai Chaudhary Bulandshahr and also from Police Station Phase-2, Noida Gautam Budh Nagar. It was also told by these people that, together these people had a similar incident in police station Bisrakh area about one year ago and in police station Sector-58 about 10 months ago. Earlier this year, a similar incident was carried out by these people in Sector-10 together.
सभी अभियुक्त कई बार जेल जा चुके हैं
सभी अभियुक्तों ने बताया कि, पूर्व 2020 में यह लोग जनपद बुलन्दशहर में थाना कोतवाली देहात से मु0अ0सं0 394/2020 धारा 420/467/468/471 भादवि में जेल भी जा चुके हैं। सुमित ने बताया कि, वह जय चौधरी बुलन्दशहर से एवं थाना फेस-2, नोयडा गौतमबुद्धनगर से भी जेल जा चुका है। इन लोगों द्वारा यह भी बताया गया कि, इसी तरह की घटना इन लोगो ने मिलकर थाना बिसरख क्षेत्र में लगभग एक वर्ष पूर्व और थाना सेक्टर-58 में भी लगभग 10 माह पूर्व कर चुके हैं। इसी वर्ष की शुरूआत में इन लोगों द्वारा मिलकर सेक्टर-10 में इसी तरह की घटना को अंजाम दिया है।
