Lucknow: A one-day joint meeting of the state executive of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), district metropolitan presidents and divisional in-charges, and frontal organization office bearers and spokespersons was held. लखनऊ: प्रगतिशील समाजवादी पार्टी (लोहिया) Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) की प्रदेश कार्यकारिणी, ज़िला महानगर अध्यक्षों व मंडल प्रभारियों और फ्रंटल संगठन के पदाधिकारियों एवं प्रवक्ताओं की एक दिवसीय संयुक्त बैठक हुई। यह बैठक लखनऊ स्थित कैंप कार्यालय पर गहन मंथन-चिंतन व रणनीतिक संभावनाओं पर विचार विमर्श करने के साथ ही अपने राजनीतिक सिद्धांत पर रहने के आह्वान के साथ संपन्न हुई।

On the occasion of this meeting, Shivpal Yadav said that Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) will fight the upcoming local body elections on its own, taking lessons from its past experiences. PSPL chief said that Party will move forward with progressive socialism and inclusive nationalism principles. No one is allowed to do politics of division and hatred in the name of Ram. The facilities of education, medicine, electricity and drinking water should be made accessible and affordable. Essentially, the example of a public welfare state should be set by providing all these facilities free of cost to the poor.

इस बैठक को अवसर पर शिवपाल यादव ने कहा कि, प्रगतिशील सामाजवादी पार्टी (लोहिया) अपने पूर्व के अनुभवों से सबक़ लेते हुए आसन्न स्थानीय निकाय का चुनाव अपने दम पर लड़ेगी। प्रसपा प्रमुख ने कहा कि, प्रसपा प्रगतिशील समाजवाद व समावेशी राष्ट्रवाद के सिद्धांत के साथ आगे बढ़ेगी। राम के नाम पर विभाजन व नफ़रत की राजनीति की इजाज़त किसी को नहीं है। शिक्षा, चिकित्सा, बिजली व पेय जल की सुविधा को सुलभ व सस्ता किया जाना चाहिए। अनिवार्यतः ग़रीबों को यह सभी सुविधाएं निःशुल्क उपलब्ध कराकर लोककल्याणकारी राज्य का उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए।

During the discussion on the social and economic proposal, the state executive demanded to implement the recommendations of the Santhanam committee to make the bureaucracy accountable, transparent, and people-oriented. So that the economic policies that are made should be transparent and effective. Aditya Yadav said that the threads of unity are very deep in the culture of this country. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia along with poets Azam Shamsi Minai and Captain Abbas Ali formulated the concept of Ramayana Mela.
