Dayashankar Singh conducted surprise inspection on The Purvanchal Expressway
Instructions given to challan 10 overloaded trucks
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Transport Dayashankar Singh conducted a surprise inspection of overloaded trucks on The Purvanchal Expressway on his way from Lucknow to Ballia late at night. During the surprise inspection, the Transport Minister instructed 10 trucks to be challenged immediately if they were found to be overloaded. He directed officers to regularly check the overloaded vehicles and ensure immediate action if the vehicles were found to be overloaded.
10 ओवरलोड ट्रकों का चालान किये जाने के दिये निर्देश
Lucknow: उत्तर प्रदेश के परिवहन राज्यमंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) दयाशंकर सिंह देर रात लखनऊ से बलिया जाते समय रास्ते में पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे (The Purvanchal Expressway) पर ओवरलोड ट्रकों का औचक निरीक्षण किया। औचक निरीक्षण के दौरान परिवहन मंत्री ने 10 ट्रकों को ओवरलोड पाए जाने पर तत्काल चालान करने के निर्देश दिये। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि ओवरलोड वाहनों की नियमित जांच करें एवं वाहन ओवरलोड पाए जाने पर तत्काल कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित करें।
Overloading leads to loss of revenue and roads
During the surprise inspection, the Transport Minister called the Divisional Transport Officer of Amethi district on the spot and directed that, "The RTO of the concerned district should ensure enforcement action from time to time at the places of crossing and landing on the expressway. If the violation of the rules is found, Strict action should be ensured against the vehicles concerned. Overloading leads to loss of revenue and roads."

आकस्मिक निरीक्षण के दौरान अमेठी जनपद के सम्भागीय परिवहन अधिकारी को मौक़े पर बुलाकर परिवहन मंत्री ने निर्देशित किया कि, "एक्सप्रेसवे पर चढ़ने एवं उतरने वाले स्थानों पर संबंधित जनपद के आरटीओ समय-समय पर प्रवर्तन की कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित करें। नियमों का उल्लंघन पाए जाने पर संबंधित वाहनों के ख़िलाफ़ सख़्त से सख़्त कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित किया जाए। ओवरलोडिंग से राजस्व एवं सड़कों का नुक़सान होता है।"
Action will also be taken against the concerned officer
Mr. Singh said that, "action will also be ensured against the concerned officer of the place from where the overloaded vehicle leaves and between the districts where the overloaded vehicle will pass. Check overloaded vehicles in your districts from time to time with full vigilance.
संबंधित अधिकारी के ख़िलाफ़ भी कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित की जायेगी
श्री सिंह ने कहा कि, "ओवरलोड वाहन जिस जगह से रवाना होते हैं और पकड़े जाने वाले स्थान के बीच में जितने भी जनपदों से होकर ओवरलोड वाहन गुज़रेगा, उस जगह के संबंधित अधिकारी के ख़िलाफ़ भी कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित की जायेगी। सभी संभागीय परिवहन अधिकारी अपने-अपने जनपदों में पूरी सतर्कता के साथ ओवरलोड वाहनों का समय-समय पर जांच करें।"
