Center of Excellence will be established in the name of a sports city in the districts of UP
Lucknow: Branding of One District One Product Scheme will be done in every nook and corner of the country through the players participating in the National Games from Uttar Pradesh. Sports kits and track suits will also be provided to the players along with a stole of Chikankari, an ODOP product of Lucknow. In the stadium, players representing UP will be seen carrying ODOP (One District One Product Scheme) product stoles around their necks during the National Anthem.

Lucknow: उत्तर प्रदेश से नेशनल गेम्स में हिस्सा लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों के माध्यम से एक ज़िला-एक उत्पाद (One District One Product) की ब्रांडिंग देश के कोने-कोने में होगी। खिलाड़ियों को खेल किट व ट्रैक सूट के साथ-साथ लखनऊ का ओडीओपी उत्पाद चिकनकारी का स्टोल भी उपलब्ध कराया जायेगा। स्टेडियम में यू0पी0 का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले खिलाड़ी राष्ट्रगान के दौरान अपने गले में ओडीओपी प्रोडक्ट स्टोल डाले नज़र आयेंगे।

Let us inform that, Additional Chief Secretary, Sports Dr. Navneet Sehgal was reviewing the preparations for the National Games in his office room at Bapu Bhawan today. He said that in the last National Games, Uttar Pradesh had won 67 medals. This time the players of the state have been given a target of winning at least 100 medals while performing the best. He said that the State Government is determined to nurture sports talent from the cities and remote rural areas. For this, along with promoting activities related to village-village, city-city sports, infrastructure facilities are being strengthened.

बता दें कि, अपर मुख्य सचिव, खेलकूद डा0 नवनीत सहगल ने आज बापू भवन स्थित अपने कार्यालय कक्ष में नेशनल गेम्स की तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने कहा कि, पिछली बार के नेशनल गेम्स में उत्तर प्रदेश को 67 पदक मिले थे। इस बार प्रदेश के खिलाड़ियों को सबसे उम्दा प्रर्दशन करते हुए कम से कम 100 पदक जीतने का लक्ष्य दिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि, राज्य सरकार शहरों एवं सूदूर ग्रामीण अंचलों से खेल प्रतिभाओं को निखारने के लिए कृत संकल्पित है। इसके लिए गांव-गाव, शहर-शहर खेल से जुड़ी गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा दिये जाने के साथ-साथ अवस्थापना सुविधाओं को सुदृढ़ किया जा रहा है।

Additional Chief Secretary said that 450 players from UP are participating in the National Games to be held from 29th September to 12th October in the state of Gujarat and they will take part in 24 different types of sports competitions. On September 25, the process of flagging off the teams will start. He said that, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is very serious about promoting sports in the state. He directed to submit a proposal for establishment of Center of Excellence in the name of Sports City in three districts of Gorakhpur, Prayagraj and Baghpat.

अपर मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि गुजरात राज्य में 29 सितम्बर से 12 अक्टूबर तक आयोजित होने वाले नेशनल गेम्स में यू0पी0 से 450 खिलाड़ी प्रतिभाग कर रहे है और ये विभिन्न प्रकार के 24 खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में हिस्सा लेंगे। आगामी 25 सितम्बर को फ्लैग ऑफ करके टीमों को रवाना करने का सिलसिला शुरू हो जायेगा। उन्हांने बताया कि, मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ प्रदेश में खेल को बढ़ावा देने के प्रति बेहद संजीदा हैं। उन्होंने तीन जनपदों गोरखपुर, प्रयागराज तथा बागपत में स्पोर्ट सिटी के नाम सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस की स्थापना का प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए।

This will encourage rowing, yachting and canoeing sports. The talents of the players will come to the fore. He told that sailing sport is a part of the Olympic Games. With the promotion of this sport, the players of Uttar Pradesh will perform well in national and international competitions. Along with this, sports tourism will also get a boost in these areas. He directed officials to make available the proposal for water sports. Director, Sports RP Singh, General Secretary of UP Sports Association Anandeshwar Pandey and department officials were present at the meeting.
खिलाड़ियों की प्रतिभायें निखर कर सामने आयेंगी - अपर मुख्य सचिव
बैठक के दौरान अपर मुख्य सचिव ने बताया कि इसके अतिरिक्त गोरखपुर के रामगढ़ ताल एवं लखनऊ के गोमतीनगर में वाटर स्पोर्ट प्रोजेक्ट तैयार करने के निर्देश विभागीय अधिकारियों को दिये गये हैं। इससे रोईंग, याचिंग एवं कैनोइंग खेल को बढ़ावा मिलेगा। खिलाड़ियों की प्रतिभायें निखर कर सामने आयेंगी । उन्होंने बताया कि नौकायन खेल ओलम्पिक गेम्स का हिस्सा है। इस खेल को बढ़ावा मिलने से उत्तर प्रदेश के खिलाड़ी राष्ट्रीय व अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतिस्पर्धाओं में अच्छा प्रदर्शन करेंगे। साथ-साथ इन क्षेत्रों में स्पोर्ट्स पयर्टन को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को वाटर स्पोर्टस का प्रस्ताव उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश दिए। बैठक में निदेशक, खेल आर0पी0 सिंह, उ0प्र0 खेल ऐसोसिएशन के महासचिव आनंदेश्व पाण्डये सहित विभाग अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
