Voting begins for the post of Congress President

New Delhi: Voting has started in AICC for the next Congress President. In the voting, the first vote has been cast by P Chidambaram and the second vote has been cast by Jairam Ramesh. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also cast his vote. Congress veteran Mallikarjun Kharge is in the fray for the post of Congress President and challenging him is Shashi Tharoor.

नयी दिल्ली: कांग्रेस के अगले ध्यक्ष पद के लिए AIICC में वोटिंग शुरूअ हो चुकी है। मतदान में पहला वोट पी चिदंबरम ने डाला है और दूसरा वोट जयराम रमेश ने डाला है। वहीँ राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने भी वोट डाला है। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष पद के लिए मैदान में हैं कांग्रेस के दिग्गज नेता मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे हैं और उन्हें चुनौती दे रहे हैं शशि थरूर जोकि कांग्रेस का जाना माना चेहरा हैं।

Let us tell you that the process of voting started at 10 am. The first vote has been cast by former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram and the second vote has been cast by Jairam Ramesh. Congress will get a non-Gandhi president after 24 years in the elections being held after 22 years for the sixth time in the history of 137 years. Voting is going on in 68 booths across the country.
