Organizing an exhibition of handicrafts made items

Lucknow: An exhibition of handicrafts made by handicraftsmen was organized in Lucknow district from September 23 to October 02, 2022, to fulfill the objectives of Prime Minister's announcement "Vocal for Local" and self-reliant India. An exhibition of ODOP (One District One Product) products and items made by handicraftsmen of the state was organized at Avadh Shilp Gram, Shaheed Path, Lucknow.

लखनऊ: प्रधानमंत्री के उद्घोष ‘‘वोकल फार लोकल’’ तथा आत्म निर्भर भारत’’ के उद्देश्यों की पूर्ति हेतु 23 सितम्बर से 02 अक्टूबर, 2022 तक जनपद लखनऊ में हस्तशिल्पियों द्वारा निर्मित वस्तुओं की प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन संपन्न हुआ। ओ0डी0ओ0पी0 उत्पादों तथा प्रदेश के हस्तशिल्पियों द्वारा निर्मित वस्तुओं की प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन अवध शिल्प ग्राम, शहीद पथ, लखनऊ में किया गया।

In the referenced exhibition, apart from ODOP products Chikankari and Zari Zardozi of district Lucknow, excellent products of ODOP of different districts of the state like Leather product of Kanpur, Wood product of Saharanpur, Sports product of Meerut, Gooseberry of Pratapgarh, Gooseberry of Siddharth nagar, Brass products of Moradabad, Carpets of Bhadohi, Pottery of Bulandshahr (Khurja), Silk products of Varanasi and Terracotta of Gorakhpur etc. were exhibited and sold.

संदर्भित प्रदर्शनी में जनपद लखनऊ के ओ0डी0ओ0पी0 उत्पाद चिकनकारी एवं जरी ज़रदोज़ी के अतिरिक्त प्रदेश के विभिन्न जनपदों के ओडीओपी के उत्कृष्ट उत्पादों जैसे कानपुर का लेदर उत्पाद, सहारनपुर का लकड़ी का उत्पाद, मेरठ का खेल उत्पाद, प्रतापगढ़ का आवलां, सिद्धार्थनगर का काला नमक चावल, मुरादाबाद का पीतल उत्पाद, भदोही की कालीन, बुलन्दशहर (खुर्जा) की पोटरी, वाराणसी का रेशम उत्पाद एवं गोरखपुर के टेराकोटा इत्यादि की प्रदर्शनी एवं बिक्री की गई।

The exhibition was concluded today by Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion. The exhibition was visited by the Additional Chief Secretary and in consultation with all the entrepreneurs/artisans/handicraftsmen, information was obtained regarding the sale of their products and the facilities provided by the department. The participants were motivated by them to take advantage of government schemes and how their product quality, sales, branding can be improved. Information has been provided in this regard.

अपर मुख्य सचिव सूक्ष्म लघु एवं मध्यम उद्यम तथा निर्यात प्रोत्साहन अमित मोहन प्रसाद द्वारा आज प्रदर्शनी का समापन किया गया। अपर मुख्य सचिव द्वारा प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया गया। समस्त उद्यमियों/कारीगरों/हस्तशिपियों के साथ विचार विमर्श करते हुए उनके उत्पाद की बिक्री एवं विभाग द्वारा उपलब्ध कराई गई सुविधाओं के संबंध में जानकारी प्राप्त की गई। उनके द्वारा सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ लेने हेतु प्रतिभागियों को प्रेरित किया गया। उनके उत्पाद की गुणवत्ता, बिक्री, ब्रांडिंग में कैसे सुधार किया जा सकता है। इस संबंध में जानकारी प्रदान की गई।

For the fulfillment of the objectives of 'Vocal for Local', knowledge was enriched by APC on various dimensions. The participants of the stall expressed satisfaction about the facilities provided by the department and expressed their thanks for the increase in the revenue generated through sales. Entrepreneurs/handicraftsmen requested for more such fairs, exhibitions and cooperation. In the closing, the Entrepreneurs/handicraftsmen of the stall, departmental officers, people who came to the fair, etc. were present.
