Lucknow: Director of Information UP Shishir Singh paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri by garlanding and offering flowers in the meeting room of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Information Complex today. On this occasion, Director Information said that today we all are celebrating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. This year the whole country is also celebrating the "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" on the completion of 75 years of independence. We all should work towards making Gandhi's dream come true.

लखनऊ: निदेशक सूचना शिशिर सिंह ने पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय सूचना परिसर के सभाकक्ष में आज महात्मा गॉधी एवं पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री भारत रत्न लाल बहादुर शास्त्री के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण व पुष्प अर्पित कर नमन किया। इस अवसर पर सूचना निदेशक सूचना ने कहा कि, आज हम सब राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गॉधी व पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री लाल बहादुर शास्त्री की जयन्ती मना रहे है। इस वर्ष पूरा मना रहा देश आज़ादी के 75 वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव भी है। हम सभी को गॉधी के सपने को साकर करने की दिशा में कार्य करना चाहिए।
"Be the change you want to see in the world" - Director Information UP
Keeping the thoughts of the Father of the Nation, he said, "Bring the change in yourself that you want to see in the world." Bapu gave the message of following the path of truth and non-violence during the freedom movement. We all should follow the messages given by Bapu. It is also the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri, who gave the slogan of "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan" to the country. On this occasion, Bapu ji's favorite bhajans were sung by the cultural team, which was heard and appreciated by all.

राष्ट्रपिता के विचारओं को रखते हुए कहा कि, "ख़ुदमें वो बदलाव लाइए, जो आप दुनिया में देखना चाहते हैं।" बापू ने स्वतन्त्रता आन्दोलन के दौरान सत्य और अहिंसा के मार्ग पर चलने का संदेश दिया। बापू के द्वारा दिये गये संदेशों का अनुपालन हम सभी को करना चाहिए। देश को "जय जवान, जय किसान" का नारा देने वाले पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री भारत रत्न लाल बहादुर शास्त्री की भी जयन्ती है। इस अवसर पर सांस्कृतिक दल द्वारा बापू जी के प्रिय भजनों का गायन किया गया जिसे सभी लोगों ने सुना व सराहना की।
