PRAYAGRAJ: A 20-year-old man was arrested for killing his mom and stuffing her physique inside a trolley bag at a rented condo in Haryana’s Hisar after she refused to pay him Rs 5,000 for bills.
The person was arrested by Uttar Pradesh police in Prayagraj on Thursday when he, in line with the plan, was making an attempt to immerse her physique within the Sangam River. The accused has been recognized as Himanshu Kumar, a resident of Gopalgunj in Bihar.
The cops, after noticing Himanshu’s suspicious behaviour, checked his bag and arrested him.
“A workforce of Daraganj, who was on night time patrolling responsibility, noticed a youth at round 2:40 am, carrying a trolley bag between Akshaybat and Sangam zone,” DCP (Metropolis) Deepak Bhuker informed TOI.

The person has confessed to having strangled his mom, recognized as Pratibha Devi (42), at their rented lodging in Hisar’s Arya Nagar on December 13 earlier than he deliberate to immerse the physique into Sangam.
The deceased labored in a cotton mill in Hisar to earn her livelihood, whereas Himanshu is an undergraduate scholar.
