CBI arrests BSNL divisional engineer in Lucknow for taking Rs 20,000 bribe | Lucknow Information

LUCKNOW: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) apprehended Ved Prakash, a divisional engineer (in-charge AGM) at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Restricted (BSNL) in Jalaun. He was taken into custody in Lucknow on Tuesday on prices of demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.
The arrest adopted a grievance lodged by Ravindra Panchal towards Ved Prakash, accusing him of soliciting a bribe of Rs 20,000 in trade for awarding a contract for the set up and provide of an OLT Machine, offering fiber connection to the BDO Workplace in Dakor, Orai, and guaranteeing well timed funds.
