Host Questions the guests- As you all have cleared these specific exams and achieved success so, tell me about the things that gave you stress at that moment. But now when you think of them you feel it was not necessary to worry about them at all.Answer- Brahmacharimayum Nistha says that Firstly, the thing that scares us a lot is the syllabus. Just by seeing the vast syllabus we become worried about how will we cover this. We need to understand that it is not possible to attain all of the information in our mind so focus on specific topics which are asked frequently in the exams. Also, revise the previous year’s question papers and learn to prioritize the topics.
The host mentions the quote from the Book of Narendra Modi that “Revise and be wise”.
Shuchismita Adhikari says that we not not focus on what questions will come in the exam. Instead, we should have faith in our preparation
Jai Kumar Bohara says that The preparation of each student is different and personalized so, there is no single rule to prepare that can be applied to each student. If I talk about myself, I feel that making notes helped me a lot. I prepare my notes not in the form of sentences but in the form of arrows and charts. This helps me to remember what is important.
So, what the students can do is they can try to experiment with different strategies and look at the exam you are preparing for. They mention a quote from the book ” Your Exam Your Method so, choose your style.”
Armanpreet Singh says Also, we should focus on our strengths and neglect our weaknesses to prepare well.
Ishita Kishore says that I think whenever we think about the exam we are engulfed in fear but don’t let that fear stop you and conquer your fears. PM Modi also says that to cheat is to be cheap so, be honest with yourself. This will help you to achieve your strategy and will give you confidence.
Host question to Brahmacharimayum Nistha- As you were the host of PPC, I want to know what changes that came to you from PPC.
Answer- I am really glad to be part of Pariksha Pe Charcha. This platform taught me various things such as how to communicate and how to prepare well for the exams.
Host question to Ashish Kumar Verma- You are also an alumni of PPC so, what are the changes you felt before coming here and now?
Answer- There are three major things that I got out of PPC, Firstly if you want to excel in any field or if you want to stay ahead of the crowd, there are three things you have to do every day-
The first one is a Spiritual win, the second is a Mental win and the third one is a Physical win. So, if you do these three things daily you are already ahead of the crowd.
Questions from the students
Question- After December we have like one month to prepare for the exam. how can we strategize our preparation earlier I was preparing for CLAT so that was my main goal. I kind of side-lined my class and my academic subjects and now it is coming back to me. So, I want some guidance on that.
Answer- Ashish Kumar Verma says
that Firstly, focus on the topics that are asked on boards and then try writing as much as you can. Shuchismita Adhikari says that when I used to start the chapter, the first thing I used to do was count the number of pages and if it was like 20 or more I used to think that it was too much for me. Then my mother used to say that don’t do this, it is completely useless. So, I started with one page at a time.I also realized that it is important to write it down, as when we go through the pages of the book we think that we know this and that. The problem comes when you try to formulate it and you are not able to articulate the answer yourself.
Question- How can we create a positive environment so, students can approach their board exams with confidence?
Answer- Ishita Kishore says that exams are just a part of our life, not our entire life. So focus on the all-round development. You can study for 7-8 hours and pursue your hobbies for 2-3 hours and also get a good sleep of 8 hours. This can help you to create a positive environment for yourself.
The host mentions the quote from PM Modi that Pursue extracurricular activities beyond the classroom. This will help you to build your personality.
Question- As you mentioned studying is a 360-degree approach so I want to learn a few life skills apart from the studies that you guys have earned from PPC and have applied them and got the benefit from them?
Answer- Radhika Singhal says that it would be a lie if I said that I was into extracurricular activities because I wasn’t but as I have grown up and have been to college I realized that extracurricular activities are really important as they build up your confidence. So, I haven’t done it but I will advise you guys to pursue it as academics are one thing but what matters is your confidence to communicate and present yourself.
Shuchismita Adhikari says that I was involved in extracurricular activities in my school. It was a good experience and I felt I had something to look forward to.
Question- How can we control our minds so that even the thought of cheating does not come to our minds?
Answer- Ashish Kumar Verma says
that by cheating if you pass the exam, you will not be able to contribute or level up the game.Question- How can we manage our stress while preparing for the board exams?
Answer- Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy says that I used to play a lot of cricket when I was young and was in my school so, what you can do is engage yourself in different activities between study sessions. It can be different for all but keep something other than your academics. You can read, listen to music take a break play a sport, or anything. Exams are just a formality to check your learning so try to give your best and focus on learning. If you have this thing in mind you will never feel stressed.
Question- While preparing for board exams, what are the most effective techniques to maintain mental focus and peace?
Answer- Jai Kumar Bohara says that there is a technique that studies for 25 minutes and then takes a break for 5 minutes. It can extend to 10-15 minutes sometimes but you have to create a discipline that it remains for 5 minutes only. You can also do that study for 50 minutes and take a break for 10 minutes.
Interview Masterclass with Ishita Kishore and Jai Kumar Bohara
They took an interview session with a student and asked a few questions such as Tell me about yourself and the vision of India they have in their eyes. To sum up, in the interview Ishita said that overall she did a wonderful job, loved her confidence and clarity. Before sitting she was courteous enough to ask us May I sit. So, overall I think she did a wonderful job and I am very proud.
Expert’s Masterclass with Ashish Verma
He distributed question papers to the students and provided them a minute to answer the questions. The first learning through this is how you handle the pressure right in front of you. You saw the question paper strategized the format and began to solve the same. The second learning is Time management that how will you prioritize the questions in the exam as per the marks. So, learn these skills and implement them to the path you want to make your career in.

Radhika Singhal – Each one of us has the pressure of an exam so prepare well before the same to avoid last-minute stress.
Shuchismita Adhikari – I just want to say that sleep well and eat good food, your body deserves that and when you have stress just share it with others, share it with your parents, and teachers. If you think you are alone in this journey, trust me you are not.
Brahmacharimayum Nistha – I think that Hard work, preservance, smart work, and patience create talent. So, always keep practicing, improve yourself, and never give up.
Ashish Kumar Verma – First, if you don’t sacrifice for what you want to achieve then what you achieve will become that sacrifice.
Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy- Be happy but not satisfied. If you are not happy with whatever you have, you will lose what you have and you will not be happy anywhere but if you are satisfied with what you have you will never go further and will miss out on more exciting things in life. So, dream for more.
Jai Kumar Bohara- Collaboration will always beat the competition so when you take help from others it not only enhances your performance but also goes towards the collective benefits.
Armanpreet Singh- Don’t ever trade your passion as after a certain time you will start losing your interest in it. So, never choose glory over passion.
Ishita Kishore- Michael Jordan has said that stay true to the game, game will stay true to you. If you shortcut the game, the game will shortcut you. If you put forth the effort, good things will be bestowed upon you. It’s true to the game, true for the exams, and for life as well.
