Man surrenders after fatally hacking elder brother over dinner cooking dispute in Lucknow | Lucknow Information




LUCKNOW: A person hacked his elder brother, Ashok Kori (35), to demise over a dispute about cooking dinner within the Banthra space of Lucknow late Wednesday evening.
The accused, Sujit Kori, aged 27, surrendered on the police station after committing the crime. He has been detained, and the police are at present interrogating him.
In keeping with the police, the confrontation between the siblings escalated when Ashok Kori, a small ice-cream vendor, returned residence drunk and requested Sujit, who works as a labourer, to arrange dinner round 10 pm.
“Sujit, additionally intoxicated, refused to conform together with his elder brother’s directions, resulting in a verbal altercation. It turned deadly when Sujit, unable to manage his anger, resorted to violence and fatally struck Ashok with an axe,” mentioned the police.
Following the tragic incident, Sujit, overwhelmed with regret, voluntarily walked into the native police outpost and surrendered himself. The police promptly took him into custody and commenced investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Further DCP of the South Zone, Shashank Singh, acknowledged that the homicide weapon was recovered, and Ashok Kori’s physique was despatched for a autopsy examination. “Each brothers had been single, and their dad and mom had handed away way back,” added the officer.
