Telangana | One killed in landmine explosion in Mulugu forest

An individual was killed in a landmine explosion within the Kongala hills forest beneath Wajedu mandal of Mulugu on Monday. The deceased was recognized as 55-year-old Yellandula Yesu. Studies recommend that the outlawed CPI Maoists planted the landmine. Yesu, together with two different villagers – Ramesh and Phakir – from Jangannathapuram village ventured into the forest to gather firewood. 

Unaware of the environment, Yesu stepped on a landmine, inflicting a loud explosion that shook the realm and killed him immediately. The police suspect there could also be a number of different landmines planted within the forest space, concentrating on police personnel conducting combing operations. They’ve warned villagers to keep away from coming into the forest for his or her security, mentioned a police officer.
