PILIBHIT: Divisional forest officer of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve (PTR), Manish Singh, on Tuesday despatched a letter to SP Avinash Pandey to make preparations for character verification of the reserve’s vacationer guides and safari car drivers.
This comes after a vacationer information captured footage and movies of eco-tourists at Chuka vacationer spot and circulated them on social media on Sunday.The matter was taken up police by the eco-tourism part of the reserve after girls raised objections.
Singh mentioned the reserve has deployed 96 vacationer guides and 62 safari car drivers. He mentioned this step was taken to make sure the protection of vacationers, particularly girls and foreigners.
