In a surprising incident, a person bit off the fingers of a shopkeeper after a dispute over Rs 50 in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district.

The incident occurred when a shopkeeper, Shiv Chandra Karwaria, who sells garments at a garment store, mentioned a buyer approached his store to purchase a frock. He bought a frock and went away.

The following day, the person returned to the store and advised Karwaria that the frock he bought was small and mentioned he wished an even bigger dimension. The shopkeeper advised him that he must pay one other Rs 50 for a bigger frock.

After that, the accused threw the garments of the shopkeeper from his store onto the street and fled.

An injured Karwaria reached a close-by police station and filed a criticism.

Station Home Officer (SHO) of Kotwali Naraini, Suresh Saini, mentioned {that a} case had been registered primarily based on the shopkeeper’s criticism.

The SHO mentioned the police have been looking for the accused and that authorized motion can be taken as soon as he was arrested.
