LUCKNOW: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case towards two assistant managers (Operations) of Hindustan Petroleum Company Ltd (HPCL) Mathura terminal, two personal firms, and unknown individuals on a criticism lodged by the chief vigilance officer of HPCL for theft and pilferage of petroleum merchandise.

In a press notice shared with the media, CBI officers mentioned that these accused within the FIR had been two assistant managers (Operations) of HPCL Mathura terminal, Rahul Kumar and Hemant Singh together with M/s SR Transport Firm, M/s Jadon Transport Firm, unknown public servants of Hindustan Petroleum Company Restricted and different unknown individuals.
