Per week after a 21-year-old girl from Maharashtra’s Palghar district was discovered hanging, the person with whom she was in a relationship has been booked for abetment of suicide, police stated on Monday.

The person, Sameer Pandurang Pawar, a resident of Vikramgad within the district, was booked on Sunday underneath Indian Penal Code part 306 (abetment of suicide) on a criticism of the girl’s mom, they stated.

The lady was discovered hanging from a tree on March 18. Investigations revealed the sufferer and the accused regularly engaged in telephonic conversations, usually marred by disputes and suspicions relating to the sufferer’s character, they stated.

The lady’s mom emphasised that her daughter was in a dedicated relationship with the accused for the previous three years they usually have been planning to get married, stated the police, quoting the criticism.

Therefore, she stated her daughter’s alleged suicide appeared implausible, attributing her loss of life to the accused’s suspicious conduct and frequent quarrels, they stated.
