A five-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool positioned in a residential advanced close to Panaji throughout a party, police stated right this moment.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, they stated.

“The boy, Daksh Mauskar, who lived at Valpoi village in North Goa, had come to Outdated Goa village alongside together with his dad and mom to rejoice the birthday of their household pal. When the celebration was on on the membership home of the residential advanced, the boy went to the swimming pool and fell into it with out anybody noticing him,” a senior official from the Outdated Goa police station stated.

“When Daksh was not discovered round, his dad and mom initially thought that he have to be taking part in with different kids. Nevertheless, he was later discovered within the swimming pool. He was pulled out and located to be unconscious,” he added.

The kid was then rushed to a close-by personal hospital and later shifted to the Goa Medical Faculty, Bambolim, the place he was declared useless.

The police have registered a case of unintended dying and investigation into the case is on, the police official stated.
