An explosion came about in a scrap godown within the Kudal Wadi space of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, officers stated on Saturday.

In keeping with Pimpri-Chinchwad Fireplace Division official Varad Nale, 10 hearth tenders have been deployed to regulate the fireplace.

In the meantime, the fireplace was introduced beneath management.

Additional investigation is underway and extra particulars are awaited.
