Drug Gang Chief Arrested In Rajasthan, Ganja, Opium Price Rs 1.21 Crore Seized

The Anti-Gangster Activity Power arrested a drug gang chief in Gangapur Metropolis district and seized over 121 kg of ganja, 588 grams of opium, 900 grams of doda poppy and Rs 1,52,260 in money from his home, police stated on Sunday.

The duty drive arrested the drug gang chief from his home in Todabhim police station space on Saturday, they stated.

The worth of the medicine seized has been estimated at Rs 1.21 crore within the worldwide market, police stated.

Extra Director Normal of Police, Crime and Anti-Gangster Activity Power, Dinesh MN, stated that the duty drive group took main motion on Saturday and arrested drug gang chief Ratan Singh Dhakad from his home in Todabhim police station space of Gangapur Metropolis district.

Over 121 kg of ganja, 588 grams of opium, 900 grams of doda poppy and Rs 1,52,260 in money had been recovered from Dhakad, he added.

The senior police official stated that the group raided the accused’s home and arrested him from the spot.

The accused used to get big consignments of medicine from Odisha and equipped them to the native smugglers of Alwar, Bandikui and Gangapur Metropolis, he added.

A case below the Narcotic Medication and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered in opposition to the accused in Todabhim police station and additional investigation is on into the matter, police stated.
