A 55-year-old man sustained 60 per cent burn accidents after he allegedly tried self-immolation exterior the workplace of the sub-divisional Justice of the Peace (SDM) in Mawana space of Meerut district on Friday, officers stated. A farmer by occupation, Jagbir Singh alleged that the forest division illegally confiscated his farmland and destroyed the crop on it.
