The district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Occasion (BJP) staged a protest outdoors the Deputy Commissioner’s workplace in Yadgir on Thursday and raised their voice in opposition to the arrest of Srikanth Poojari, a Ram Bhakt, by the Hubballi police.

District unit president Sharanabhupal Reddy, who led the protesters, stated that the State authorities is practising politics of vendetta by arresting Srikanth Poojari in a three-decade-old case, forward of the grand opening of Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

He accused the State authorities of making an attempt to appease one explicit neighborhood and hatching a conspiracy in opposition to Hindus.

The BJP will strongly oppose the State authorities’s anti-Hindu coverage, he stated. “The State authorities ought to launch Srikanth Poojari instantly. In any other case, the BJP will intensify the agitation till justice prevails,” he added.
