MUZAFFARNAGAR: A person allegedly shot his father to demise on Monday on account of a dispute over the compensation cash the older man acquired from the federal government after acquisition of his land.
In keeping with police, Shivraj, 52, a farmer from Karoda Mahajan village, obtained compensation of about Rs 70 lakh after the federal government acquired 4 bighas of his land for a inexperienced hall.
On Monday evening, a quarrel broke out between the 2 after Shivraj refused handy over the cash to his son Suraj, 25. The accused locked his sister, Anshu, in one other room and shot his father within the head with the country-made pistol. He then fled from the scene.
