2 extra Opposition MPs out from Lok Sabha, complete 143 legislators suspended in Winter Session
The Lok Sabha suspended two extra Opposition MPs — Thomas Chazhikadan and AM Ariff — for the rest of the Winter Session on Wednesday. They suspended for “displaying placards and coming into the Properly of the Home”.
With the newest suspensions, a complete 143 MPS have now been suspended from each the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Since Thursday final week, 97 MPs have been suspended from the Lok Sabha and 46 MPs from the Rajya Sabha.
