Ek Prem Katha’ actress Komal Sachdeva talks about assembly Rajkumar Hirani for ‘Dunki’

MUMBAI:‘Bathroom: Ek Prem Katha’ actress Komal Sachdeva will probably be seen sharing display house with celebrity Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration drama ‘Dunki’ and recalled her first assembly with the filmmaker.

“Once I first met Raju sir and launched myself, he mentioned, ‘I do know you, Komal. I’ve seen your audition and we actually preferred it.’ It was a really nice shock as somebody like him who would have seen so many auditions for therefore many characters remembered my specific audition,” she mentioned.

Komal, who was lately seen in Shilpa Shetty-starrer ‘Sukhee’, began her performing journey with theatre in Delhi with Dinesh Khanna, a professor at Nationwide College of Drama.

Her first business performing mission was ‘Bathroom: Ek Prem Katha’ starring Akshay Kumar, whereby she performed Chulni, part of Lota Occasion. Thereafter she was seen in a number of initiatives like ‘Taandav’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Habib Faisal’s ‘Dil Bekarar’, Dharma Productions’ ‘Selfiee’ starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi.

‘Dunki’ stars SRK, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Dia Mirza, Dharmendra, Satish Shah, Parikshit Sahni.

The movie releases theatrically on December 21.
