Bridled Noodles (Pennsylvania Dutch) | Simply A Pinch Recipes

Blue Ribbon Recipe

A mouth-watering aspect dish that is full of texture and taste. It is a conventional Pennsylvania Dutch aspect dish that is a cross between stuffing and buttered noodles topped with gravy. A buttery bread crumb combination, sprinkled over buttered egg noodles, offers this dish a scrumptious, savory taste with a little bit of texture. Turning on the broiler for the previous couple of minutes barely toasts the bread crumbs. Serve alongside something from Thanksgiving turkey to rooster breasts or pork chops. We served ours with baked rooster and made gravy with the drippings. That is an old school recipe that is pure consolation meals.
