Uttar Pradesh: Medicine value Rs 49 crore recovered, 4 arrested | Lucknow Information

MAHARAJGANJ: 4 folks had been arrested on Friday close to the Indo-Nepal border in Uttar Pradesh following the invention of 85 kg of charas of their possession, with an estimated road worth of Rs 49 crore, a senior police official mentioned.
The Superintendent of Police, Kaustubh, reported that in a routine test, the suspects—Santosh Paswan, Deepak Mishra, Ramavatar Yadav, and Sanjay Yadav—had been intercepted, and the illicit substances had been discovered of their car.
A case has been filed towards the accused beneath the NDPS Act, and ongoing investigations are underway, he added.
