RAMPUR (UP): A neighborhood courtroom in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur, on Wednesday, discovered Samajwadi Get together chief Azam Khan, his spouse Tazeen Fatima and their son Abdullah Azam responsible in a 2019 case involving cast delivery certificates.
They’ve been sentenced to seven years in jail.
“Following the courtroom’s resolution, the three people had been taken into judicial custody and will likely be transferred immediately from the courtroom to the jail,” Arun Parkash Saxena, a former district authorities counsel representing the prosecution, mentioned.
Justice of the Peace Shobit Bansal, presiding over the MP-MLA courtroom, imposed the utmost seven-year sentence on the three convicts.

The First Info Report (FIR) on this case was filed by BJP MLA Akash Saxena on the Ganj police station in Rampur on January 3, 2019.
The allegations urged that Azam Khan and his spouse assisted their son in acquiring two fraudulent date of delivery certificates, one from Lucknow and one other from Rampur.

As per the cost sheet, the delivery certificates issued by the Rampur municipality indicated Abdullah Azam’s date of delivery as January 1, 1993, whereas the opposite certificates said that he was born in Lucknow on September 30, 1990.
