Israeli assault on Syrian Aleppo airport places it out of service

CAIRO: Israel has launched an air strike in opposition to Syria’s Aleppo Airport late on Saturday that put it out of service, the Syrian defence ministry mentioned.
“The Israeli enemy carried out an air assault from the course of the Mediterranean Sea, west of Latakia, concentrating on Aleppo Worldwide Airport, which led to materials injury to the airport and it being out of service,” the ministry added.
The Israeli army didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
The airport simply obtained to service on Saturday after simultaneous missile assaults by Israeli forces on the airports in Syria’s capital Damascus and the northern metropolis of Aleppo had broken the runways and put each hubs out of service on Thursday.
The Damascus airport remains to be out of service.
