Uttar Pradesh: Kashi ropeway first part trial in July subsequent 12 months | Lucknow Information

LUCKNOW: Set to turn out to be India’s first ropeway-enabled metropolis, Varanasi can hope to see this mode of transport prepared by March, 2024.
An official spokesperson stated the primary part of the ropeway will join Cantt Station to Godowlia. Work for the set up of the service would initially be accomplished in two sections- from Cantt to Rathyatra level and from Rathyatra level to Godowlia (through Girjaghar).
The primary part, from Cantt to Rathyatra level through Kashi Vidyapeeth, might be prepared by March 2024, whereas its trial is prone to finish by July 2024.
Officers knowledgeable that the size of the part is 2.85 km and the journey time can be about 16 minutes. The period of commute from Cantt to Rathyatra level might be about 10 minutes.
