Deranged lady raped close to Lucknow College Metro station | Lucknow Information

LUCKNOW: A mentally challenged and mute lady was allegedly sexually assaulted by a deranged man on the roadside close to Lucknow College Metro station, police stated. The accused was arrested and booked beneath IPC part 376 (rape), stated Hasanganj SHO Rajkumar.
DCP (Central) Aparna Rajat Kaushik stated: “Round 10pm on Thursday, a passerby noticed the person molesting the girl and knowledgeable police. The person was arrested, and the girl despatched for medical examination.”
She added that: “The lady is aged between 30 and 35 years and lives on streets. The accused additionally appears to be mentally challenged. He recognized himself as Anil aged 40-45 years of Lakhimpur Kheri. He too is a pavement dweller and begs for a dwelling.”
In keeping with the eyewitness, the girl was mendacity bare on the pedestal close to the Metro station and the accused was molesting her.
“I first saved the girl by beating the person after which knowledgeable the police,” he stated.
The SHO added that motion can be taken as soon as the medical reviews arrive.
