All authorities and personal colleges, faculties and universities in Sikkim will stay closed until October 15 as a result of prevalence of inclement climate, in line with a revised round by the state Schooling Division on Thursday.

The round comes inside hours of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang’s directive for the closure of colleges, faculties and universities in Sikkim until additional discover as a result of unprecedented catastrophe brought on by flash floods within the Teesta river basin.
