Household protests after nurse hangs herself, cop suspended | Lucknow Information

LUCKNOW: The household of a nurse who allegedly die by suicide as a result of dowry harassment protested by conserving her physique at Dilkusha intersection in Lucknow on Sturday. The members of the family have been demanding motion towards the outpost in-charge, Dilkusha, Tej Kumar Shukla.
After getting details about the protest, senior police officers together with DCP Central Zone, Aparna Rajat Kaushik reached the spot and pacified the members of the family by informing them in regards to the suspension of Shukla and the arrest of Ashish, the late lady’s husband. Vinod Yadav, resident of Pipra Ghat, Dilkusha, is a driver in Jal Nigam. His daughter Sapna Yadav (25) was a workers nurse at a non-public hospital. On January 29, 2022, Sapna was married to Ashish Yadav, who works in a metropolis mall.
Vinod alleged that Ashish used to harass her for dowry. That’s the reason Sapna had come to her maternal residence on September 23. The subsequent day the sufferer’s household met Shukla and complained, however he didn’t take any motion. Damage and upset over this, Sapna left the home on Friday morning saying she was going to the hospital. Nonetheless, she went to her rented home in Barauli and allegedly hanged herself.
The kin gathered at Gautamapalli police station and protested when the police intervened and pacified them. On Saturday, when Sapna’s physique was handed over to her household after autopsy, the household reached Dilkusha intersection to protest.
Kaushik mentioned that Shukla was suspended due to his behaviour which is unbecoming of an officer. She added that no laxity surfaced on his half in ordering a probe.
