69-12 months-Previous Man, Grandson Killed In Lightning Strike In Himachal Pradesh

Dharamsala:

A 69-year-old man and his grandson have been killed after being struck by lightning in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district, officers mentioned on Friday.

Thakur Das and his grandson Ankit (19) have been grazing goats together with others in Rakh village close to Palampur when the incident occurred, they mentioned.

Das’ relative Sanjay Kumar, who was with them, survived and reported the incident, they mentioned, including authorities have dispatched a staff to retrieve the our bodies and rescue any remaining people.

In a separate incident, over 60 sheep have been reported to have died resulting from a lightning strike in Mahal Chakban Dhar, part of the Dharamsala sub-division.

Sub-Divisional Justice of the Peace (SDM) Dharamshala Dharmesh Ramotra despatched a staff from the Animal Division to evaluate and tackle the scenario.
