Govt dedicated to offering reservation to Maratha neighborhood, says Maharashtra CM Shinde
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde Sunday mentioned his authorities was dedicated to offering reservation to Maratha neighborhood in training and authorities jobs, reported PTI.
Eknath Shinde, who was attending a state operate in Buldhana district, mentioned there was no misunderstanding between him and two deputy chief ministers within the state and that each one of them had been working as staff.
“My authorities is dedicated to giving reservation to the Maratha neighborhood in the state. We is not going to sit quiet till the neighborhood get its due reservation,” PTI reported quoting Shinde.
“Until the Maratha neighborhood will get reservation, the federal government schemes which can be already in place will proceed and deserving folks from the Maratha neighborhood will profit from it,” Shinde added.
Reservation in jobs and training offered by the state authorities to the Maratha neighborhood was quashed by the Supreme Court docket in Might 2021, citing the 50% ceiling on whole reservations amongst different grounds.
