UP scholar slapping row: Truth-checker Mohammad Zubair faces FIR for ‘revealing’ id of minor in viral video
Uttar Pradesh Police has filed an FIR towards Alt Information co-founder Mohammad Zubair for ‘revealing’ the id of the Muslim baby within the viral video who was repeatedly hit and slapped by his classmates on insistence of the Neha Public Faculty principal Tripta Tyagi.
The complainant Vishnu Dutt alleged that Zubair disclosed the id of the boy by sharing a video of the incident on social media.
Within the grievance it was talked about that Zubair had revealed the id of the minor boy who was getting hit by his classmates. Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Suman mentioned the case has been registered below part 74 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Safety of Kids) Act, 2015.
On Friday, a video of the college instructor Tripta Tyagi had gone viral wherein a Muslim scholar of Class 2, was seen being slapped by his classmates for allegedly not doing his homework, resulting in widespread condemnation.
The communal hatred perpetrated by the instructor was evident from her phrases “I’ve declared jitne bhi Mohammedan (Muslim) bachhe hai…”
“Aey kya tum maar rahe ho iske.. jor se maaro naa…chalo aur kiska quantity hai,(What are you doing? Why are you not beating him more durable)” Tripta Tyagi was heard urging the scholars to hit the visibly affected baby.
The Neha Public Faculty Class 2 Muslim scholar has mentioned that he was hit for an hour as a result of he didn’t research his multiplication tables, based on a report in India At the moment.
A case was registered towards Tripta Tyagi on Saturday below sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily inflicting damage) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to impress breach of the peace) of the IPC on the grievance by the boy’s household.
Tripta Tyagi, in her defence, mentioned the video had been tampered with to provide a communal color to the matter and claimed that it was shot by the scholar’s uncle.
Tripta Tyagi mentioned although it was incorrect on her half to get a scholar slapped by his classmates, she was pressured to do it as she is handicapped and was not capable of get up and attain the scholar who had not achieved his task.
