America’s high academic, cultural diplomat to journey to India




WASHINGTON: A high American and cultural diplomat can be travelling to India this week to attend the G20 Tradition Ministerial and maintain talks together with her Indian counterparts on bilateral points. In India from August 22 to 27, the journey of Assistant Secretary of State for Academic and Cultural Affairs (ECA) Lee Satterfield comes on the heels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official state go to to the USA in June and precedes the G20 Leaders’ Summit which is slated to happen in early September.
Satterfield can be visiting Varanasi and New Delhi.
