Police constable suspended in UP’s Bhadohi over video of lewd gestures to girl | Varanasi Information

BHADOHI: A policeman was suspended in Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadohi after a clip of a video name surfaced on-line by which he’s seen making lewd gestures at a lady and speaking in an obscene method, officers stated on Monday.
Bhadohi Superintendent of Police (SP) Meenakshi Katyayan stated head constable Shyam Sundar Yadav, who was posted on the Kotwali police station, was suspended on Sunday night time after the clip shared by the girl went viral on social media.
Senior officers took cognisance of the one-and-a-half-minute video by which the top constable was seen in his uniform, police stated.
The SP stated a departmental inquiry has been ordered, including that the video is claimed to be a few week outdated.
He stated the investigation has been handed over to Police Circle Officer (CO) Bhubaneswar Kumar Pandey.
