Physique of lacking minor lady discovered with throat slit, face burnt
The physique of a 16-year-old lady, who had been lacking for 3 days, was discovered together with her throat slit and face burnt with acid in a discipline abutting Prayagraj-Gorakhpur freeway close to Phulpur on Saturday morning, the Prayagraj police stated, including a homicide case was registered towards the incident.

The minor lady, a resident of Mailahan within the Phulpur space of the district, left house on August 16 to water her household’s fields and had been lacking since. A lacking individual’s report was lodged by her father on the Phulpur police station on August 18, the police added.

Senior police officers, together with DCP (Trans-Ganga) Abhishek Bharti, ACP Manoj Kumar Singh and SHO Singh reached the spot, and a forensic group and the canine squad have been pressed into service. The physique, in the meantime, was despatched for a postmortem examination.
“In his grievance, the sufferer’s father has raised suspicion on a teen from the close by Arvasi village. The youth has been detained for questioning,” the SJP added.
