Two minors die after consuming toxic sweet | Allahabad Information
PRAYAGRAJ: Two minor siblings died whereas two others had been present process therapy at separate hospitals in Prayagraj and Kaushambi after they allegedly consumed toffees laced with toxic substances at Saurai Buzurg village below Kada Dham police station of Kaushambi on Thursday, police mentioned.
Household of the deceased have poited the needle of suspicion in the direction of neighbours following which two individuals have been detained.
SP (Kaushambi) Brijesh Kumar Srivastava advised TOI that the 2 deceased had been Sadhana (8) and Shalini (7), daughters of Vashudev.
Srivastava mentioned “4 ladies -Varsha Rani (8), Arushi (4), Shalini and Sadhana, all residents of Saurai Buzurg-consumed toffees within the morning. Quickly, their situation began deteriorating. A staff of Kada Dham police rushed to the spot and seized the wrappers of the toffees from the home of 1 Raj Kumar Prajapati,” he mentioned.
The relations together with villagers took the youngsters to the Kada Dham CHC from the place three, Varsha, Sadhana and Shalini, had been referred to SN Hospital in Prayagraj. The SP mentioned Raj Kumar’s daughter Varsha and Arushi, the daughter of 1 Ashok, had been present process therapy.
