“Bharat Jodo Yatra” no news and pictures

New Delhi: Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran are two big newspapers of Hindi state. The main part of these two newspapers consists of 12-12 pages. Even then, there is no place for the news of the "Bharat Jodo Yatra". Dainik Jagran has no news and photos. In Amar Ujala, one-fourth of the single column has an information that Sonia Gandhi will join the yatra. In this way the Congress's Yatra has been vanished from Hindi newspapers.

नयी दिल्ली: अमर उजाला और दैनिक जागरण हिन्दी प्रदेश के दो बड़े अख़बार हैं। इन दोनों अख़बारों के मुख्य हिस्से में 12-12 पन्ने होते हैं। तब भी भारत जोड़ो यात्रा की ख़बर के लिए जगह नहीं मिलती है। दैनिक जागरण में कोई ख़बर और तस्वीर नहीं है। अमर उजाला में सिंगल कॉलम के चौथाई हिस्से में एक सूचना है कि सोनिया गांधी यात्रा में शामिल होंगी। इस तरह से हिन्दी के अख़बारों से कांग्रेस की यात्रा को ग़ायब कर दिया गया है।

In this way the media keeps the opposition missing so that the public remembers every day that, it is helpless, not an option. Godi media is the killer of opposition and democracy. He has made the opposition invisible. I have been of the view from the beginning that any opposition party, if it does not fight the Godi media, is not playing a democratic role. Jairam Ramesh has challenged the lies of Godi Media and Ardh Godi Media, but it is insufficient. Several anchors have had to apologize but the world does not know just by ranting on Twitter. Its news is not published anywhere. You can say that Jairam Ramesh has started taking iron from the antics of Godi Media. But his focus is on a very small fight. They are not able to understand the demonic nature of the media, which their leader Rahul Gandhi had explained in a better way many times. In the first press conference called for the announcement of padayatra and at Ramlila Maidan, Rahul had clearly said that the voice of the public and the voice of the opposition have disappeared, hence pediatrist are being made. The Congress just disappeared his statement.

Jairam Ramesh should do proper assessment of Hindi newspapers and channels, then give a statement that the media is covering Bharat Jodo Yatra. This trip has been canceled. In my view, Godi Media and Ardh Godi Media have banned Bharat Jodo Yatra. Bharat Jodo Yatra is also missing from TV channels. One channel is still operational. It does not travel on main channel but, keeps showing on YouTube. That's how everyone has done the trick. The rest Jairam Ramesh is more intelligent.

जयराम रमेश को हिन्दी के अख़बारों और चैनलों का सही आँकलन करना चाहिए, उसके बाद बयान देते कि, मीडिया भारत जोड़ो यात्रा को कवर कर रहा है। यह यात्रा ग़ायब कर दी गई है। मेरी नज़र में गोदी मीडिया और अर्ध गोदी मीडिया ने भारत जोड़ो यात्रा को प्रतिबंधित कर दिया है। टीवी चैनलों से भी यात्रा ग़ायब है। एक चैनल तो और भी चालू है। उसके मेन चैनल पर यात्रा नहीं है लेकिन, यू ट्यूब पर दिखाता रहता है। इसी तरह से सबने ख़ानापूर्ति की है। बाक़ी जयराम रमेश ज़्यादा समझदार हैं।

Had this padayatra been for BJP and Amit Shah had been walking on foot for 26 days, we would have seen its coverage. Every page would be full of news and analysis armed with Amit Shah's walk and a new era of hope and new communication. Like Rahul Gandhi, if Amit Shah or Narendra Modi were giving a speech while getting wet in the rain, then that picture would have been printed on the whole page. He was called an avatar. TV channels would be running day and night that how great Modi is. Congress should learn. It kept raining and addressing the rally.

Unless every citizen, every leader fights with media running with the power of thousands of crores of rupees, does not ask questions every day, then there will be no balance in this democracy. Without balance of power, democracy turns into dictatorship.
